Challenge Shanghai: 1.9km swim, 87km bike, 20km run! This iconic race will be held on Oct.24!
Your race starts as special as it can be: you will swim 2 laps of 0.95 km inside the scenic waters of the boat dock at Shanghai Haiwan National Forest Park – a truly unique location. The course will take you on a counterclockwise journey around two marked buoys before guiding you back to the transition area, setting the perfect tone for the challenge ahead.
After the swim, you’ll mount your bike at the T1 mount line on the Great Lawn of Shanghai Haiwan National Forest Park. The bike course will take you on a journey through the park’s internal roads, past Gate No.1, and onto Suitanghe Road, Sihai Road, and the coastal dyke at Tuanjietang Road. You’ll complete 4 loops of this scenic route before heading back through the park to the dismount line. This course is not just a test of endurance, but a showcase of Shanghai’s stunning coastal and forest landscapes.
Last but not least, it’s time for your 20km run. This fast, out-and-back course is entirely contained within the beautiful internal roads of Shanghai Haiwan National Forest Park. With each 5km lap (2.5km one-way), you’ll be surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Remember to always run on the right side of the course, and push for a great finish time – and an even greater experience that you won’t forget. Ever!
